What To Expect At Your First HydraFacial

Before we get into what to expect, let’s take a step back.

What is a HydraFacial? A HydraFacial is a skin resurfacing treatment that cleanses, exfoliates, and hydrates the skin.

The best part? There’s no downtime. Immediately following the facial, your skin may be slightly pink in color depending on your sensitivity. Other than that, you are good to go!

So, what can you expect from a HydraFacial? Let’s get into it!

Step 1: Consultation

This is step is important. Your provider should ask you what your current skincare routine looks like, if you have any concerns, what your goals are, etc. Once that is out of the way, you are ready to get pampered.

Step 2: Manual Cleanse

Your provider will give you a manual cleanse to wipe off the day’s grime.

Step 3: Extractions + Chemical Peel

Your provider will apply a very mild chemical peel (only a slight tingle) to prep the skin, followed by extractions. There’s no hard pressure applied to the skin. Instead, the device is used with a special tip to extract gunk from the pores.

Step 4: Hydration Fusion

Using the HydraFacial device, your provider will pass the wand around your face pushing in a hydration infusion into the skin.

Step 5: Antioxidant Serum + Sunscreen

To wrap up the facial, an antioxidant serum and sunscreen are applied to the skin.

Step 6: See the results!

You’ll instantly see a difference in the overall texture and clarity of your skin. It should feel plump, soft, and moisturized. Your skin will be absolutely glowing!
